Mediocrity, an entire life,
Observing, an average life,
No great achievements,
Struggle and strife,
Stumbling toward the extraordinary,
A taste test sublime,
No buds blossoming,
Senses withdrawn,
Eating the bread of life.
Addictions dissolving,
Confessional, eyes upward,
Imperfections and a vast Beyond,

Mary the Dawn, Christ the Perfect Day;
Mary the Gate, Christ the Perfect Way!
Mary the Root, Christ the Mystic Vine;
Mary the Grape, Christ the Sacred Wine.
Mary the Wheat Sheaf, Christ the Living Bread;
Mary the Rose Tree, Christ the Rose blood-red.
Mary the Font, Christ, the Cleansing Flood;
Mary the Chalice, Christ, the Saving Blood!
Mary the Temple, Christ the Temple’s Lord;
Mary the Shrine, Christ the God adored.
Mary the Beacon, Christ the Haven’s Rest;
Mary the Mirror, Christ the Vision Blest!
Mary the Mother, Christ the Mother’s Son.
Both ever blest while endless ages run. Amen.

Simplicity coupled with intimacy,
God centered,
A profound stillness descends.

I say nothing,
Nothing clever, insightful, nor penetrating,
I say nothing,no talking in tongues,
Tabitha, Tabitha, Tabitha,
Individuality smashed, unification usurping,
Be opened, be pure, authentic to birth,
Wake up sleeper, arise,
Appearing within uncreated light,
Revealing contrasted with creating,
And sweet anointing from Above.

Opened, passing through,
Closed, a barrier blocking,
Ascension contrasted by assumption,
A key unlocking a handle less,
A time for being closed,
A time for opening,
Discerning proprietary,
And the existence of things,
Ways and means of a Creator,
Grace and understanding,
Divine Mercy standing before.

Nothing is working, yet it is,
Expansion through decay,
Fertilization, fall, and dying leaves upon a tree,
Reparation, poetry unwritten, singing a song of silence,
Becoming soft, growing old,
Breathing in passing moments,
As it was, as it is, as it shall be,
God alone, God unknown,
Acceptance, things seen and unseen,
Apothatic, release within loving,
A wound left bleeding.
